Indian troops on Sunday opened fire on the civilian population in the Chirikot Sector, according to a press release issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
Eight-year-old Khayam got seriously injured after the Indian troops opened fire from posts across the Line of Control (LoC).According to the military’s media wing, the injured minor was evacuated to a hospital for treatment.
Pakistani troops effectively responded to the Indian post that opened fire, the ISPR said.
Despite repeated calls by Pakistan for restraints, Indian troops continue to violate the ceasefire agreement between the two countries.
