SRINAGAR: The All Parties Hurriyet Conference (APHC) and other organisations in Indian Occupied Kashmir have termed the Amnesty International’s reports on human rights violations by Indian police and troops in the territory as an eye-opener for the world community and India.
According to a press release issued on Friday, The APHC spokesman said that the Amnesty International, while reporting facts about the uprising in 2016 had testified the stand of Hurriyet leadership that the puppet administration had virtually turned the occupied territory into a big jail. Under the draconian laws, life and honour of civilians are insecure and Indian forces have made the civilian’s life a hell.
The spokesman said that India is an autocratic state that stands exposed by the report released by the Amnesty International. He said, “Its claims of being a great democracy are mere hoax and fraud.”
The spokesman further appealed to the UN and other international forums to use their influence and take practical steps to save precious human lives in the occupied territory.
