Messi had a great year with Barcelona but failed to create impact with Argentina. Leo was names in the FIFPri World XI team but failed to make his place in the final three of the Best Player Award which Madric claimed later on.
Talking about Messi the Cameroonian said “Leo, for us, will always be the best player in the world ever.”
Talking about the Best Player nominees he said “The human beings have to choose and they chose those three players, who have done will this year too.
“But for people like me and others, it doesn’t change the fact that Leo is the best player in the world ever.”
Eto’o played alongside Messi at Barca from 2004-09. The years in which Ronaldinho changed Barca forever.
